The Wine:
A lighter expression of this grape, indigenous to Georgia but flourishing in Australian climates. Reminiscent of a spicier gamay this saperavi boasts a nice line of acid and tannins without being too drying on the palate. Expect juicy dark berries. Matured on lees in French oak.
